Harry Miller served in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. He began his military career as a private in the 60th Bomb Squadron and took a number of classes to increase his military knowledge. From November 1944-December 1945, he was stationed in India and in Kunming, China, with the 816th Chemical Company and the 305th Service Group in the 10th Air Force.
